In Accountancy we build the journal-to-final-accounts pipeline from scratch: theoretical framework, journal entries, ledger posting, trial balance, depreciation, bills of exchange, rectification of errors, financial statements of sole proprietorship, and an introduction to computerised accounting. Business Studies covers Nature & Purpose of Business, Forms of Business Organisation, Public/Private/Global Enterprises, Business Services, Trade, Source of Business Finance, Marketing and Consumer Protection. Economics covers Statistics for Economics (collection, organisation, presentation, measures of central tendency, dispersion, correlation, index numbers) and Indian Economic Development.

We deliberately teach Accountancy with paper-and-pen practice in every class – commerce students lose marks not because of weak theory but because of slow speed and presentation mistakes in the practical questions. Each chapter is followed by a graded set of board-style problems, and we walk through the marking scheme so students learn exactly how examiners award (and deduct) marks.

Batches are kept small (10–15 students), with weekly chapter tests, a monthly cumulative test and a parent-teacher review every term. We also share NCERT solutions and chapter-wise notes through a class WhatsApp group, so students can revise on the move.
